•WOOD SPECIES
Pine is the softest wood option and also the most economical. Stains beautifully, distresses and dents easily.
Red Oak is the tried and true American Hardwood. Stains beautifully and is very hard/durable. Has a slight red tone.
Cherry is a beautiful red-toned hardwood, a great option for tables.
Maple is a harder, more durable wood than pine & cherry with unlimited options for paint/stain choices!
Ash is very comparable to Red Oak, it's actually a bit harder, and has more of a white/natural tone than Red Oak.
Hickory is the hardest wood we offer, great for rustic/old world styles as well as modern styles!
White Oak is extremely hard and dense, and similar in grains to Red Oak. This species is more rare, and thus, more expensive.
Walnut is absolutely STUNNING and our personal favorite! The dark tones, beautiful grain patterns, and supreme durability make it a perfect option for tables.

•STAIN OPTIONS
Please note that a stain will vary a bit from one wood species to another. If you'd like to see a sample of a certain stain on a certain species, just let us know! Maple does produce slight blotching with stains, and there are methods we use to counteract this and keep it to a minimum. Just please keep in mind that maple isn't the best choice for stain options.

•PAINT OPTIONS
Any surfaces selected to be painted will be constructed from poplar by default (a great hardwood option for paint). If you're seeking a harder substrate for a painted surface, we can do hard maple as well, which is harder than poplar.

•FINISHES

All surfaces (including paint colors) are finished in Sherwin Williams two part Sayerlack polyurethane. This is offered in matte, satin, and gloss sheens. We can do any paint color in this same product. This product is KCMA approved and among the most durable wood finishes on the planet.
•We will work with you every step of the way to ensure you are getting what you want for your home. Send us inspiration photos, call us on the phone, whatever it takes to set up your perfect custom style and finish!
